Young Peoples Supported Living and Adult Supported Living

We support young people aged 16-25 as well as adults who are Care leavers, have Autism, Learning Disability, Physical disabilities, Mental health problems, Substance Misuse and Behaviours that challenge. Young people are supported to live in the community in tenancies that meet their needs ;be it in shared tenancies or sole occupancy tenancy. Our semi-independent homes are staffed by teams that are highly trained with additional training provided to meet the diagnosis or challenges faced by the individuals we support. The level of support will be increased or decreased as required and in consultation with the placing authority to meet the individuals needs especially for young people with learning disabilities and/or behaviours that challenge.

We support our young people to gain life skills and work towards independent living where appropriate. Some of the activities we do include:

  • Budgeting skills, food shopping
  • Accessing education suitable for the individual
  • Accessing Employment
  • Accessing and registering with health services like mental health, sexual health, substance misuse support and therapeutic services to meet sensory needs.
  • Safe food preparation, maintaining a clean and safe home.
  • Supporting family contact
  • Appropriate conduct to reduce reoffending behaviour and promote social integration.
